Length is 35mm only, it is special used in smaller application, such as CWDM, DWDM ect. 35m Length Micro Transparent CWDM DWDM Fiber Splice Heat Shrink Tube is commonly known as an optical fiber heat shrink protect sleeve. 35m Length Micro Transparent CWDM DWDM Fiber Splice Heat Shrink Tube is widely used in communication optical fiber splicing projects, it is consisted of a special cross-linked polyolefin, a hot melt tube and a strengthen member.
35m Length Micro Transparent CWDM DWDM Fiber Splice Heat Shrink Tube is consist of 304 Stainless Steel Rod and EVA tubings. Its diameter is only about 1.4mm after shrink.
35m Length Micro Transparent CWDM DWDM Fiber Splice Heat Shrink Tube was developed to protect and strengthen fusion splices on fiber optic cables. We must be installed on the optical fiber before fiber fusion (otherwise, you will have to break the optical fiber and start again). First, slide the Fiber Optic Splice Sleeve onto the optical fiber. Then weld the two optical fibers. After the welding is completed, slide the sleeve onto the optical fiber fusion point and cover the connect point and the exposed optical fiber. Put the protective sleeve into the protective sleeve oven built in the welding machine. There, the Fiber Optic Splice Sleeve is heated to melt and contract around the joint. Because the Fiber Optic Splice Sleeve has steel rods, a mechanical protection is formed to prevent the fiber from bending. The contraction of the tube around the optical fiber also forms an environmental protection to keep the element away from the connector.
