Description:
Fiber Heat Shrink Sleeve is a special polyolefin thermal-shrinkable sleeve, also called EVA. The outer layer is made of high quality soft cross linked polyolefin material and inner hot-melt adhesive. The outer tube made with the characteristics of insulation, corrosion prevention and wear resistance, while the inner inner has the advantages of low melting point, waterproof seal and high adhesion.
In order to make it easy to fit, Focus Infra offer a big inner diameter up to 3.9mm, it's much bigger than those low price products. Focus Infra’s Sleeves are manufactured with pre-shrunk at both end of sleeves to keep the steel rod from dropping out, All members maintain perfect alignment during shipping, handling and shrinking.

The Fiber Heat Shrink Sleeve intends to protect (mechanically) fiber optic drop cable connection. The Fiber Heat Shrink Sleeve is built from shrinkable plastic tube with metal cylinder inside. The cables are inserted before splicing into the plastic tube. After making the splice, the shrinkable tube is heated and shrunk on the splice. It can protect the spliced fiber from being break down and unwanted bending and is coated with the plastic tube. It gives to the installer flexibility while using the spliced fibers during installation.
